One Dollar for One Watt - Apartment 3 Horsham

A One Dollar donation to our Social Solar program means you help fund One Watt of renewable energy!  How good is that?  But One Dollar for One Watt equals even more.  Each time we reach a fundraising target, solar panels will be installed on the roof of a social housing property.

BREAZE's One Dollar for One Watt program involves BREAZE partnering with UnitingCare Housing and other social housing providers to select suitable properties for solar panels or solar hot water. We know that many people facing disadvantage are getting left behind so this is one way we can assist, while at the same time taking action to reduce emissions and increase renewable energy.

Since May 2017, when we started this project, sufficient funds have been donated to put solar panels on six social housing properties equaling 12.2 kW of renewable energy.

Now we want to raise another $3,800  we can put panels on a property in Horsham.

To find out how many households have been assisted as a result of Social Solar by BREAZE, visit our website. For those of you who watch the price of solar panels, you will know that 1 watt of solar costs a bit more than $1, but the shortfall is made up with other money.

Thanks for considering BREAZE for your donation.
