Umeewarra Media works on the land of the Barngarla people, we respect their cultural knowledge and language and recognise their deep grief for the loss of their land where Port Augusta has been built and our building now stands. We respect that they have a strong, ongoing connection to this land and I apologise for the destruction and hurt caused to them as a people since 1836.
