Pride Foundation Australia

Pride Foundation Australia (formerly GALFA) General Appeal

Pride Foundation Australia (formerly GALFA) is a national philanthropic foundation and one of few organisations that is specifically focused on funding lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer, asexual and other (LGBTIQA+) issues in Australia.

How will the funds be used?

Issues of LGBTQIA+ discrimination, disadvantage and need are little-addressed by other philanthropic organisations. With individual contributions and co-funding from like-minded organisations, Pride Foundation Australia (PFA) supports underfunded and important LGBTQIA+ projects that make a difference in our community.

PFA actively works to increase philanthropic support for the Australian LGBTIQA+ and allied communities through fundraising, grant giving, collaboration and commissioning projects.

PFA adopts a social change model to our philanthropy and has a dedicated focus on advancing equity for the most disadvantaged LGBTIQA+ Australians, including advocating for systemic change.
