We are an established, assertive outreach providing food, hygiene kits, clothing, blankets and swags, primary healthcare checks and access to other organisations in the Hunter. We provide a safe, regular space in a prominent CBD location that enables contact with a wide range of people in the community. These people may be affected by homelessness, drugs and alcohol, mental health issues, or just lonely.

Your donation will help:

• Operate and run the vehicles and equipment needed
• Purchase food and other items for distribution
• Enable REACH to expand into more areas and at additional times
• Purchase T-shirts & cold/wet weather jackets for volunteers
• Provide training for all volunteers
• Cover costs associated with our administration, insurance, sponsorship marketing, vehicle registrations and maintenance, as well as reporting

REACH Homeless Services benefits the wider community by helping reduce incidents of alcohol abuse, antisocial behaviour and helping alleviate the burden on the public welfare system by rehabilitating homeless individuals and empowering them to become independent and proactive members of the Newcastle community.
