Temperance Hall Donor Program 2021


This End of Financial Year donate to Phillip Adams BalletLab and Temperance Hall and go into the draw to win some marvellous prizes!

We’ve banded together with generous sponsors, to pull out all the stops, thanking you for your donation to our End of Financial Year Appeal.

As BalletLab and Temperance Hall emerge from last year's challenges, we remain steadfast in our continued efforts to provide curatorial dialogues, presenting platforms, artist-led opportunities, and a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ artists and community to reconnect and create. 

Donations over $50 will automatically go into the draw to win some incredible prizes on offer. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win. You will receive one entry for every $50 of your donation, for example, $500 = 10 entries. 

List of prizes:

  • A luxury stay at the Sofitel Melbourne on Collins, with one night's accommodation in a suite and breakfast for two  
  • Lunch or dinner for two at La Luna Bistro, the beloved Rathdowne Street institution led by chef Adrian Richardson
  • Dinner for two and a pre-dinner drink at neighbourhood favourite, James restaurant in South Melbourne  
  • Cellar door wine tasting and a platter at Yal Yal Estate on the Mornington Peninsula, plus a mixed case of Pinot Gris, Rosé and Pinot Noir blends.

All funds raised will directly support BalletLab and Temperance Hall artists programs:

  • Phillip Adams new project Triptych: Exploring a divine intervention of queer crucifixions inverted across three platforms of movement and visual anatomy: inspired by Francis Bacon Triptych paintings (1944 –1986)
  • Temperance Hall artist-led workshop program curated by Artistic Associate Luke George, designed to offer professional development and community-building opportunities for independent Melbourne dance artists
  • A new partnership project titled Portrait with our neighbours at CaspaCare aged care facility in South Melbourne. This intimate project draws residents of CaspaCare into a creative dialogue to document their story and experiences of isolation during COVID lockdowns.


Terms and Conditions:

  • Donated prizes will be drawn on Tuesday, 6 July at 12 noon by Phillip Adams
  • Each donation to the value of $50 will be eligible to enter the draw. Multiple values of $50 will mean multiple chances to receive a prize
  • Prizes will be drawn in order of the list stated in the campaign, from first to last
  • Recipients of prizes will be notified by email on July 6 following the draw
  • If your name is drawn, you will not be eligible to win other prizes in this draw
  • Winners will be announced publicly and all donors thanked on July 12 2021.
