Eva's Place - Pregnancy and Early Parenting Support

About this cause

At Eva’s Place, we are here for women, teens and their families who are facing an unexpected positive pregnancy test or challenging pregnancy and early parenting situation.

Eva's Place gives practical, emotional, and material support to women, teens, and their families throughout pregnancy and up until the end of the first year after their baby is born.

Like 18-year-old Sarah, whose partner said he would deny he was the father of her child and she´d have to face life alone;

or 34-year-old Katherine, who has four children and her husband has been sent to jail.

Or like Josh, when the baby’s mother abandoned both him and their child when the baby was just a few weeks old, leaving him floundering.

How your donation will be used to help:

Eva’s Place Conversations:
Eva’s Place facilitates a safe place where women can have a conversation with someone who listens and helps them find answers to their questions surrounding the decision-making stage of an unexpected pregnancy.

Eva’s Place Resource Room
Baby clothes, maternity clothes and other baby items may be accessed by people who are unprepared for the birth of their baby or going through a difficult time.

Mentoring and Male Mentoring Programs
Through one-on-one and group mentoring, clients participate in conversations about pregnancy and antenatal care; newborn and baby care, preparation for parenting; nutrition, budgeting and other life skills; and more. Clients also build relationships with good role models who demonstrate good parenting
