Running As One
Calling our emergency services friends and family to join us as we Run as One. Together we will run or cycle between response locations in our region to raise awareness for the mental health of Emergency Service Workers. The event will take place over 7 days, from 7th of April to the 13th of April, with the final day being a community walk from Mooroopna to Shepparton. We have a goal of raising $20,000, with all proceeds being donated to our partner organisation “Code 9”. Code 9 provides immediate emergency welfare to current and veteran professional first responders and their family. Code 9 provide support, advice, and guidance to members in critical need of assistance. They fund and coordinate the provision of assistance dogs to mentally injured first responders. Meals are supplied to members in need, along with house cleaning, garden maintenance, grocery vouchers and other assistance as required.

The Wild Sows Postie Bike Ride - Wings 4 Kidz
The Wild Sows are back and bigger than ever for the Never Late Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride in 2025 with 5 new team members! We are riding our postie bikes 800kms over 4 days in the Never Late Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride, raising vital funds for Wings4Kidz. Wings4Kidz provide specialist free air service for children in rural and regional communities to access medical appointments, helping to alleviate the burden of long distance travel and time away from their families in the most difficult of times. The difference Wings4Kidz have made to so many families with sick children living in rural and remote areas is just extraordinary and we know there are so many other families that would benefit from their work, but they need more funding to make that happen. So please support Wings4Kidz by donating to our CrowdRaiser, as we know they will appreciate every cent received. And we will be very grateful for your contribution too! We would also be very grateful for you to share the link to this CrowdRaiser page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better! Thank you, Renae, Monique, Kylie, Kristy, Gertie, Katie, Amanda & Racheal

Stanford Brown Kookaburra Kids Fundraising Page
Stanford Brown is raising funds for the Kookaburra Kids Foundation Limited, which supports children aged 8-18 living in families impacted by mental illness. A charity that ‘walks the walk and talks the talk’. Kookaburra Kids provides direct support and helps to empower young people to go beyond the impacts of family mental illness. Founded by Dianne Madden, who identified a lack of support for children living in a family affected by mental illness, Kookaburra Kids set out to provide the following initiatives: Offer respite to the children. Offer camps where the children are mentored away from the disruption of what can sometimes be described as a chaotic family life due to mental illness. Provide the children with the opportunity to mix with other children who share a similar family story. At Stanford Brown, we understand that mental health can affect your well-being at any age. Acknowledging the mental health of these children and the situations they face while also offering support for them is important to us. The difference Kookaburra Kids Foundation has made to so many people is extraordinary, and we know many others would benefit from their work. But they need more funding to make that happen. So please support their work by donating to our CrowdRaiser. We know they will appreciate every cent received, and we will be very grateful for your contribution, too! Thank you Stanford Brown

Auntie Vickie Roach
Hi all, Flat Out and Homes not Prisons are raising funds to support Auntie Vickie Roach - proud Yuin woman and respected elder in the movement against the prison industrial complex in Australia. After decades of writing and campaigning Auntie Vickie is now in palliative care for serious respiratory and other health issues. She is in a private rental property and needs support with rent, personal home care, groceries, health and medical costs. We need to raise at least $1000 a month while we try to source more affordable supportive accommodation and care. If you have worked with Auntie Vicklie or read her work or heard her speak you will understand how important it is that we care for her now. You can hear Vickie talk about her life and work here: In and out of strife: Vickie Roach's turbulent life Please consider a regular weekly or monthly donation to help us create some safety, stability and comfort for Aunt. We'd also be grateful if you could share this link with others who could help. Thank you

Dogs for Defence Veterans - Munda Biddi 1000km Ride
In April 2025, I will be riding the Munda Biddi in southwest WA, the longest point to point off-road bike trail in the world, covering over 1000km in 10 days of solo riding. As a proud Australian Defence Force member of 18+ years and a dog lover, I am hoping to use this physical challenge as an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Defence Community Dogs. Defence Community Dogs train rescued and rehomed dogs with low security inmates (under the guide of professional dog trainers) to become assistance dogs, and gift them at no cost, to ADF Veterans suffering from depressive, mood and anxiety conditions, including PTSD. Share this CrowdRaiser page to help raise awareness amongst your friends and family. The more people who can help the better! Help Wings4Kidz Soar! For families in regional areas, the road to medical treatment for a sick child is often long, lonely, and exhausting. Whether it's a child in need of heart treatment, cancer care, or specialized surgery, these families face the overwhelming challenge of traveling hours—sometimes days—just to reach the medical care their child desperately needs This year, we will be hitting the road on a Postie Bike to raise funds for Wings4Kidz. Wings4Kidz is registered charity dedicated to lessening the burdens of travel for these families, providing free air and ground transportation to ensure children get to their treatments safely, quickly, and with their loved ones by their side. A fully operational aircraft, piloted by highly skilled and dedicated volunteers, helps these families by turning long, grueling journeys into much shorter, less stressful flights. What used to take days of travel now takes only hours, if that, allowing families to focus on what really matters—being together and helping their child heal. But Wings4Kidz can’t do this without your support. Each flight represents a lifeline for a family going through one of the toughest times of their lives. The money raised through events such as the 2025 Never Late Fe-Mail Postie Bike Ride goes directly to keeping planes in the air—ensuring that they can continue to provide this essential service, free of charge, to families who need it the most. Every cent makes a difference. Together, we can make the long road to recovery a little shorter for families facing unimaginable challenges. Every mile flown brings hope. Every donation is a step toward healing. Thank you for helping Wings4Kidz soar. 🕊️ - Wingz, Wheelz & Wine (Beck, Jenny, Cassie, Kristie, Ellen, Georgia and Lily)

Licola run for special needs kids
The Lions Licola Wilderness Village exists mainly to support disadvantaged kids and those with special needs, which it does through special camps. The Lions Club of Licola Wilderness Village was formed primarily to support the activities of this village. At the end of April 2025 we are holding a special run to raise money to support these camps, and to enable more of them to be held. In this way we can support many more children by giving them a wonderful experience. These camps absolutely transform the lives of these very special kids, and your support is greatly appreciated. Sari-Elle Kraemer, a Lion from Coogee in Sydney will be our runner. In 2024 she completed the world's highest marathon - the Everest Marathon - to raise money for the Australian Lions Foundation. Since visiting Licola Village as a volunteer at a Lions-Sponsored Camp for 8-11 year old children, she saw first hand the wonderful effect the camps have on children. She enthusiastically volunteered to complete the run from Licola to Traralgon via Heyfield in support of special needs children. Please give us your support.

Sharon's Camino for Conservation
In December 2023, we sadly lost our wonderful mother, wife and friend Sharon to lung cancer. Cancer, however, was merely a blip at the end of Sharon's otherwise rich and colourful life. Sharon was a gentle, compassionate soul, who loved being outside surrounded by nature. From admiring bees in her garden, to traversing hundreds of kilometres through fields of wildflowers on the Camino de Santiago, Sharon always noticed and appreciated the beauty around her. Sharon was a teacher, both in profession and nature. She taught us the importance of respecting, protecting and connecting with the natural environment, forever reminding us how lucky we were to exist in a country so rich in biodiversity. She'd regularly collect rubbish whilst on the beach or frustratingly point out an invasive plant on a bushwalk. Sharon had always wanted to walk the Camino de Santiago with her family, but fate denied her this. Instead, Sharon's family will walk the camino in her memory this year and lay her to rest along The Way. In Sharon's honour, we have chosen to use this opportunity to fundraise for Bush Heritage Australia. Bush Heritage works in partnership with Traditional Custodians and landowners to protect and heal Country and its unique wildlife. Our fragile ecosystems are currently under significant threat from climate change, land clearing and invasive species. Funding will allow Bush Heritage to be better equipped to prepare for and adapt to these issues so that we can continue to enjoy our landscapes and wildlife for many years to come. Please consider supporting us as we embark on our 900km+ pilgrimage to honour our beautiful wilderness and our beautiful Sharon. Many thanks, Elise, Chrys, Nick, Luke and Demi.

The Breaking Point Challenge FOR THE CURE - Craig
Welcome to my fundraising page for The Breaking Point Challenge – raising funds for the CURE! By clicking the “Donate Now” button above, you can sponsor me and leave a message of support. This Challenge is designed to push ordinary people like me to our physical and mental limits. Over five months, I’ll be training hard to prepare for 30 relentless hours of intense physical and psychological activities across two tough days. Why? Because it’s all for an incredible cause: The Cure Starts Now Australia. Founded right here in Townsville, this foundation funds vital research, treatments, and clinical trials for children’s brain cancer. Brain cancer is the leading disease-related killer of children and young adults under 40 in Australia. The Terry Campese Foundation is about building brighter futures for youth and has partnered with Cure Starts Now Australia to deliver this challenge right here in Townsville. That’s why I’m standing up and taking on this challenge, and I’m asking you to stand with me because both the Cure Starts Now Australia, and the Terry Campese Foundation are about making a difference for our children and youth. The net proceeds raised will be split 75% to Cure Starts Now Australia and 25% to the Terry Campese Foundation. Every donation, big or small, will help two fantastic charities. Please consider donating, and if you can, share this page with your friends and family too. Thank you so much for your support.
