About this cause

These Holidays, please support Milk Crate Theatre in uplifting the voices of underrepresented communities across Sydney and reshaping lives through the transformative power of performance.

As we look ahead to our 25th anniversary, Milk Crate Theatre is embarking on new ambitious endeavours, such as introducing a new digital stream while continuing to strengthen and expand our existing programs. Your contribution — big or small — will help turn these aspirations into reality, enabling us to reach more people and bring about meaningful and long-lasting positive change.

Make a donation today and play your part in the Milk Crate Theatre story. Every act of generosity contributes to a more inclusive, empathic, and creative society.

In all that we do, we acknowledge that the foundations of Milk Crate Theatre are on Gadigal land of the Eora Nation and that wherever we create, we walk in the footprints of the ancestors that were here before us. We pay respects to the tradition of storytelling of the First Peoples, practiced by the earth’s longest living culture and pay homage to this. We embrace those stories of the past and continue to share stories of the now. We pay respect to Elders past, present and to walk side by side, hand in hand for a healing future. Sovereignty was never ceded, and we acknowledge those who have nurtured and respected the land for generations before us. (Co-written with Peta-Joy Williams, a Wiradjuri woman and artist, and Jessica Pantano)
