Vulnerable Children in Need Australia (VCN Australia) is helping raise funds to support the South Sudanese Nuer Youth–Parents Conference, to be held in Perth in early 2026.

This community-led event will bring together young people and parents to bridge the generational gap, strengthen cultural identity, and promote mental health and family unity within the South Sudanese community.

The conference will include workshops, discussions, and a cultural celebration focused on:

• Restoring trust and connection between youth and parents
• Supporting mental health and wellbeing
• Encouraging faith, education and leadership
• Preserving language, culture and values
• Promoting positive parenting and strong families

Your donation will help cover essential costs such as venue hire, meals, transport support, and youth activities.

Our goal is to raise $6,000 — every contribution truly makes a difference. Any funds raised beyond this amount will support charitable programs identified as community priorities at the conference.
