The Search for Champions
25 Years. 25 Champions. $25,000.

For 25 years FLING Physical Theatre has been a home for young people in the Bega Valley to create, grow and engage through contemporary performance.

What began as a small, pioneering calling in regional Australia became something both culturally significant in the youth arts landscape and cornerstone of the local community. A consistent space where young people could return week after week to build lasting friendships and develop both artistic and personal practice in a professional environment.

Over time, thousands of young people have passed through FLING. Many have carried those relationships, skills, and experiences into their adult lives. Others have gone on to work in the arts and creative industries. Many simply describe it as a formative part of growing up in this region, something that shaped how they move through the world and relate to others.

It started here, and it continues to grow.

Now, as we mark 25 years, we are looking ahead.

We are searching for 25 Champions to help raise $25,000 and support the next chapter of FLING.

A Champion can be an individual, family, business, or community supporter. Someone who believes young people should have access to serious creative opportunities, regardless of where they live.

Your support helps make this possible:
- Creating new contemporary performance works with young people
- Supporting emerging artists and professional pathways
- Delivering accessible community programs
- Sustaining high-quality youth arts in regional Australia

FLING is now recognised as one of Australia’s leading youth dance organisations. What matters most is that each year new young people step into this work for the first time.

That is what your support protects and strengthens.

We are not asking you to simply donate. We are inviting you to become part of the next chapter of a 25-year legacy already in motion. Will you become one of our 25 Champions?

Help us mark 25 years of impact and invest in the future of contemporary performance in regional Australia.
