For 20 years, HEAL has been supporting people from refugee backgrounds to flourish and thrive. 

We provide expressive therapies in schools and communities across Queensland to support positive mental health, social inclusion and settlement and ensuring trauma is not a barrier for learning and wellbeing.  

We rely on regular donations to deliver our services. 

Your donation enables HEAL to:

• Provide expressive therapies directly in schools to students from refugee backgrounds who need additional support to engage with schooling and to support their mental health
• Deliver therapeutic community based programs and activities for communities from refugee backgrounds.

HEAL is a program of QPASTT (Queensland Program of Assistance to Survivors of Torture and Trauma), Queensland’s specialist torture and trauma recovery service.  QPASTT is a registered charity and all donations to HEAL fund expressive therapists in schools.
