Hands of Hope Foundation is a registered charity and tax deductible gift recipient that was established by a group of people who have a passion for helping the most vulnerable and marginalised people in our community.

The key focus of the Foundation is in assisting families who are survivors of family and domestic violence to transition into a life of independence, empowerment, and hope. The Foundation exists to provide wrap around supports to survivors of family and domestic violence, with this 'wrap around support' encompassing the following:

1. Program support - 8 week trauma recovery programs ('Women are Strong', Standing Strong', 'Bringing up great kids after family domestic violence'). These programs are run every term during the year.

2. Professional support - counselling, advocacy, pastoral care, support of children.

3. Practical support - food boxes, food vouchers, furniture, relocation services, clothing, motel packs, hygiene packs.

100% of the donations made to the Foundation are used to fund the services of the Foundation. The Foundation is run entirely by volunteers.

Hands of Hope Foundation seeks to live out our mission statement, which is: 'Inspiring Hope. Transforming Lives'. We also seek to live by this quote from Desmond Tutu: 'Hope is a gift to be shared'. We are encouraging others to live by this too!
