Established in 2007, Moogahlin Performing Arts is a leading First Peoples arts organisation in New South Wales. Moogahlin develops, produces, and presents new work from its home at Carriageworks at the heart of black theatre in Australia. Moogahlin is strongly connected to community, and committed to nurturing a new generation of First Peoples arts practitioners.

Moogahlin’s vision is a culturally empowered First Peoples performing arts sector. We aim to inspire our people to tell their stories, and provide opportunities for them to be shared with the world.

Over 80% of our program is currently reliant on Government support, with less than 1% of income generated from box office. We deliberately keep our development programs free and our ticket prices low so that access is not a barrier for our communities. Moogahlin is a small company that punches well above its weight and now we need your support. 

Your donation is wholly critical to our future success. Every donation over $2 is tax deductible, and donations of $500 or more will be recognised on our website, and will receive an invitation to all our work-in-progress showings and company events.
