We are a network of Volunteers and Supporters who provide foster homes and raise funds to rescue, rehabilitate and provide short term accommodation of Staffordshire Bull Terriers and Bull Breed dogs (including cross breeds) to ensure that no Boofa succumbs to euthanasia through lack of accommodation, age, training, neglect or treatable poor health and that optimum quality of life is achieved.

Run 100% by Volunteers who are dedicated to improving the image of bull breeds and educating the public about what wonderful family companions they can be, with responsible pet ownership. We proudly are a no kill organisation.

We have around 100 -120 dogs and puppies most of time looking for their forever homes. SABBR Inc saves 300-400 Boofas per year. We are a foster based rescue group, which takes in dogs, when and where we can, from the pound system and vets, or through private surrenders, then care for them until suitable homes can be found.

• $46 a 1kg bag of puppy milk replacement
• $320 Male boofa sterilisation (average)
• $430 Female boofa sterilisation (average)

Operational costs

• $140 Kennel fees for a week per dog
• $560 Kennel fees for a month per dog

While SABBR are a foster based rescue and do not have their own kennel facilities, there are times where this is the only option to save a boofa from euthanasia until a foster or furever home is found.
