The Warrnambool and District Community Hospice (WDCH) is a community initiated, not-for profit organisation, whose mission is to provide people who are dying and their carers with the option of compassionate in-home care. At a difficult time, our volunteers visit the homes of people who are dying to provide sensitive support to them and their families. Our service relies on the generosity of the people and businesses from the Warrnambool community for its existence.

This year we are hoping to raise $50 000 for Warrnambool and District Community Hospice utility packages and ongoing specialist education for additional volunteers to meet the growing need for this service in the Warrnambool and South West Region.

There are several levels of giving each year. Here is an example of what your gift will achieve

$100 will provide a Hospice utllity package to aid a person who is dying, their carers and volunteers in the home. The Warrnambool and District Community Hospice utility package for volunteers and families includes hygiene supplies, volunteer time records, emergency numbers, end of life care and carer support information.

$500 will provide five WDCH utility packages to aid people who are dying, their carers and volunteers in the home.

$1000 will provide ten WDCH utility packages to aid people who are dying, their carers and volunteers in the home.

$2500 will provide one volunteer with rostering, specialist training, counselling and operational support for a year, to service the South West.

$5000 will provide for a year two volunteers with rostering, specialist training, counselling and operational support for a year, to service the South West.

$7500 will provide three volunteers for a year with rostering, specialist training, counselling and operational support for a year, to service the South West.

$10 000 will provide four volunteers with rostering, specialist training, counselling and operational support for a year, to service the South West.

Any contribution you can make will be granting the wish of a person, who is dying, to have their end of life needs compassionately met, in the home.
