The Australian Chamber Orchestra believes that all Australians should have access to the benefits of quality music performance and education, regardless of where they live or their socio-economic circumstances.
In 2022, ACO Collective - the ACO’s critically acclaimed string ensemble which brings together professional musicians of the ACO with Australia’s most talented emerging string players - will tour regional Western Australia, performing for the first time in Karratha and returning to Margaret River and Albany.
Led by ACO Principal Violin Helena Rathbone, “A Musical Celebration” is a concert featuring the music of English composers Handel, Walton and Britten, alongside Australian composer Carl Vine and West Australia’s own Iain Grandage.
Community engagement activities will sit alongside main stage performances in all centres - including schools’ concerts and workshops.
