In 2023, Alexandra Thoms was a young and seemingly healthy 23 year old, when she went to sleep and didn't wake up.

Alexandra's Mission was established in her honour, with a mission to to help prevent sudden cardiac death in young Australians through greater awareness, education and research.

Seven young Australians (aged 1-35) lose their life to SCD every week. And too often, underlying heart conditions go undetected until it's too late. We believe more young Australians deserve the opportunity to understand their heart health and access potentially life-saving information and screening.
