Arnhem Northern and Kimberley Artists Aboriginal Corporation (ANKA) supports nearly 50 Aboriginal-owned, community-controlled art and culture centres across more than one million square kilometres of northern Australia, including the Top End of the Northern Territory and the Kimberley in Western Australia. ANKA works with over 6,000 Aboriginal artists and arts workers – many of whom are internationally recognised and respected leaders in their communities.
ANKA has four regions – Arnhem Land, the Kimberley, the Tiwi Islands and Darwin–Katherine – which collaborate to strengthen art, culture and community across the north. ANKA’s mission is to support the self-determination of Aboriginal artists and art and culture centres. Its vision is to keep art, Country and culture strong.
Your donation helps ANKA strengthen Aboriginal-owned art and culture centres, support artists and arts workers, keep culture strong and advocate for a sustainable future for the remote Aboriginal art and culture sector.
Thank you.
