At Cultura, we work alongside people from refugee backgrounds through culturally responsive programs, events, activities and advocacy that help individuals and families feel welcomed, empowered and included as they build new lives in Australia. This year’s Annual Giving Appeal theme, ‘A Million Stories. One Community’, launches during Refugee Week 2026, and recognises the strength, resilience and contributions of people from refugee backgrounds and the importance of creating communities where every person is treated with dignity, embraced with belonging, and given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
