ANTaR is a national organisation working for Justice, Rights and Respect for Australia's First Peoples.
ANTaR is working to:
- Reduce imprisonment rates by lobbying governments to set targets and invest in crime prevention, diversion and rehabilitation.
- Modernise our Constitution by recognising Australia's First Peoples and removing racial discrimination from our nation's founding document.
- Close the Gap in health and life expectancy - Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people still live on average 10-11 years less than non-Indigenous Australians.
How will the funds be used?
- Donations to ANTaR are used to support our campaigns and advocacy activities.
- Your support enables us to lobby politicians and raise awareness in the community about rights and justice issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
- With your support, we engage in media advocacy and parliamentary lobbying, develop policy papers, hold public events and develop online campaign tools to mobilise everyday citizens.
- Help us support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, both through our advocacy and through our economic development program.
