About this cause

The Barrenjoey Artwalk returns in 2025, bigger and better than ever! After a hugely successful debut last year, we're transforming Avalon Village into a vibrant, open-air gallery once again.

When & What:

From Saturday, November 29 - Sunday, December 14, Avalon Village will transform into a open-air art gallery. Over 30 local retailers will showcase curated professional artworks in their shopfronts, with a portion of all sales donated directly to Barrenjoey High School.

Our Mission

Organised by the Barrenjoey High School P&C, the Barrenjoey Artwalk aims to:

🟡 Celebrate art on the Peninsula and draw visitors to Avalon Village
🟡 Showcase Barrenjoey High School as a school of choice with a thriving Creative and Performing Arts program
🟡 Raise funds for vital school projects and facilities

Become an Artwalk Sponsor

Not everyone can get to walk the Artwalk so we're inviting 10–20 Barrenjoey friends and families to become Barrenjoey Artwalk Sponsors with a $500 tax-deductible contribution. Your support will directly fund the P&C's 2026 School Building Fund, creating better learning spaces and opportunities for our students.

If you've been looking for a meaningful way to give back, this is it. To donate, simply use the link on the upper right.

Other Ways to Support:

💰 Purchase art – Support artists and the school
📲 Share this initiative – Spread the word within your network
💛 Follow us on social media @barrenjoey.artwalk and engage with our posts – the more visibility we get, the more we can raise for our students!

We'll also be showcasing Year 12 student artwork in one of the village's empty retail spaces – keep your eyes peeled!

Art. Community. Impact.

With respect and appreciation, we, the Barrenjoey High School community, acknowledge the Traditional Peoples of the Parramatta and Hawkesbury River Basin, who belong to the land and waters that we live, learn and play on. We acknowledge that this has been and always will be First Nations land. We pay our respect to Elders past, present and emerging and extend our respect to all First Nations people present today. Since time immemorial First Nations people have lived in harmony with the land, taking only what they needed and giving back love and respect. First Nations people live according to the laws and customs of the land and sea that have been passed down from their ancestors. As the longest continuous culture in the world, First Nations peoples have sophisticated cultures that vary between different Indigenous groups. We meet you here today with the understanding that when we share knowledge there is a better tomorrow.
