With a Foreword by Hayden Tonazzi, 'ATYP 60' is a 240-page, large-format and lavishly illustrated chronicle of ATYP’s remarkable six-decade contribution to youth theatre arts and culture in Australia. It documents the rich, creative engagement of thousands of young theatricals, and contains full production and cast lists, as well as a survey of the governance and administration, staff, tours, classes and workshops (with an extensive index).
All contributors will be acknowledged in the publication and receive a complimentary copy.

The Author: Dr John Senczuk is a theatre polymath (designer, director, dramaturg and playwright) and scholar. Concurrently a scholar, he is the inaugural S,B&W Foundation Research Fellow and currently Senior Research Fellow, Griffith University (specialising in Australian theatre history and biography). Recent publications included Griffin Rising (shortlisted for the 2020 Premier’s History Award); Griffin Redux; Carol Raye: Funny Business; and ‘Those Enterprising Impresarios’ The MacMahon Brothers. He also publishes heritage Australian drama.
Cover illustration by Jake A Minton. His published books for young people include the Zombie Diaries series, Jessica Dettmann’s There’s No Such Book, and Inked (his first graphic novel with Karen Wasson).
