Support ATYP’s Youth Ensemble in 2027
For AusArts Day 2026, ATYP is fundraising to support an ensemble of 50 young performers who will take to the stage for the 2027 premiere of Dylan Van Den Berg’s award-winning First Nations play, ‘The Flood’. Funds will support costuming and rehearsal costs for the ensemble, championing the voices of the next generation in an urgent new play about climate resilience. With climate events intensifying nationally and disproportionately impacting First Nations communities, ‘The Flood’ advocates for custodianship, Blak resilience and care of Country.
A predominantly young, First Nations-led creative team will bring this ambitious new play to life on Gadigal land in Walsh Bay. The scale of the work emphasises the autonomy and power of its young performers, foregrounding the next generation as active custodians rather than passive inheritors of crisis.
Every Gift Makes a Difference
Whether it’s $25, $100 or $1,000, every donation helps us continue our work and broaden our reach. Your contribution supports real opportunities for young people to express themselves, build confidence, and take creative risks.
