Avalon was founded in 1987, we are  entirely by volunteers and we are funded solely by donations. We require funds to help provide resources, activities and the ongoing support that Avalon offers.  Avalon aims to help people that have slipped through the cracks in society with a vision to meet unmet needs.  We give support to the people whom society has left behind.  These included the homeless, people with mental health issues and/or disabilities, the elderly, Asylum seekers, in fact anyone requiring support.   

Any tax deductible donations will be used to purchase bedding and clothing for distribution, by our Moving Wardrobe, to the homeless; petrol for our minibus, (the Moving Heart Of Gold), that we use to visit the homeless and provide transport and day trips;  provisions for our Drop-In;  Also other material aid for those who are disadvantaged.  

We have very little overheads, therefore you can be assured that your donation will go directly to those in need.  Avalon is not associated with any religious or political body.
