The Woollahra Philharmonic Orchestra has been making music in Sydney’s eastern suburbs for 30 years in 2026, delighting audiences with everything from Mozart to Shostakovich and everything in between. But behind the magic, our hardworking percussionists have been quietly battling with a rather tired set of timpani that just won’t stay in tune. It’s time to give them the instruments they deserve!

We’re raising funds to buy a brand new set of timpani so our musicians can continue to perform at their best and keep creating those spine-tingling moments that make live music so special. This is our very first fundraising campaign, and now that we have Deductible Gift Recipient status, every donation over $2 is tax deductible.
