The children we have recently brought into our projects have all come from living conditions so bad that they have spent most of their lives sleeping on rags, torn-up plastic bags, or cold, hard mud hut floors. No doubt this is something we probably take for granted in our lives!
There's nothing like snuggling kids into their beds at night, a safe warm place where they can rest and get ready for the next day of learning, and that's our goal! To have a cozy spot for all of the children we help.
We are looking to build metal bunks, purchase bedding and mattresses for projects in Sierra Leone and Uganda.
