Bethlehem House, a Special Work of the St Vincent de Paul Society (Tasmania), was established by Members in 1972 and has been supporting men experiencing homelessness for more than 50 years. It provides safe accommodation, care, and pathways toward stability and independence.
Operating 24 hours a day in Hobart, Bethlehem House is Tasmania’s largest provider of crisis and transitional accommodation for men. It has capacity for up to 76 residents year-round, with qualified staff on-site at all times, and provides all meals and daily essentials.
