In the 2025 BGA production, Reasons to Stay Inside, children were given a safe and imaginative space to explore complex emotions such as anxiety, fear and connection.
One student reflected:
“I learned I was not the only one with these big feelings.”
These experiences are not incidental.
They are foundational to how children understand themselves, relate to others, and imagine their future.
With sustained investment, these moments can reach thousands more children across Western Australia.
