BGS Friends of Music are a passionate Parent Group at Brighton Grammar School committed to supporting the creation, playing and appreciation of music across the whole School from ELC to Year 12. We aim to raise the profile of music at BGS and within the wider community, to enrich the experience for students, staff, families and community members as they participate in the diverse musical opportunities on offer.

FoM gets involved in a range of activities to support the students including providing refreshments and stage crewing at rehearsals and concerts, providing prizes at musical events and for special achievements and running social gatherings and celebrations throughout the academic year.

BGS Friends of Music, supported by the St Andrew's Music Foundation, raises funds to facilitate all of these activities to encourage music students and staff at BGS. By donating you will help BGS Friends of Music achieve their goals. Donations over $2 paid via the St Andrew's Music Foundation are tax deductible.

St Andrew's Music Foundation promotes the playing, development, composing and appreciation of music in the community of Brighton, Victoria. The Foundation supports the music program at Brighton Grammar School (BGS) and BGS Friends of Music fundraising. The Trustee for the St Andrew’s Music Foundation Trust is listed on the Register of Cultural Organisations and is endorsed from 20 August 2004 as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 in the table in section 30-15 of the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
