QYO's Big Band, one of Queensland's best, made up of 19 outstanding musicians, is heading to Japan for an unforgettable two-week international tour. Our young musicians will be performing, collaborating and immersing themselves in Japan's vibrant jazz scene, visiting Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto.
Why We Need Your Support
This is the Big Band's first international tour. We are raising money to make sure that all Band Members can participate. Many of our Members are University students, and while their families are doing all they can, we need your help to make this tour accessible for everyone.

The foundations laid by these ancestors, the original composers, teachers and musicians on these lands, inspire us. We pay our respects to their Elders, both past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
