Jeff and Carly Millar had never heard of A-T until October 2016 when they were told by doctors that they believed their son Charlie (5 March 2014 - 11 July 2024) had the rare genetic disorder. Devastated and in disbelief they would later learn that their little girl Zara, was also born with A-T.
Determined to find a cure, Jeff and his mates undertook a 12 day trek from Kathmandu to Mt Everest Base Camp in November 2018 to raise much need funds. Despite raising $250,000, Jeff & Carly's team has continued to raise funds with the love and support of family, friends and the very generous Wagga Wagga community.
