The Brisbane Philharmonic Orchestra (BPO) is Brisbane's leading and most dynamic community orchestra, bringing together up to 200 musicians each year to play a variety of classical orchestral music.  The BPO is wholly operated and maintained by volunteer members who are passionate about delivering high-quality classical music performances for Brisbane community musicians and audiences.

Since it's creation in 2000, the BPO has become the community orchestra of choice for over 500 musicians  The orchestra maintains many important community and festival partnerships and is eagerly sought after as a performance partner for acclaimed conductors and artists.

Donations to the BPO go towards assisting its delivery of:

• high quality orchestral performance events;
• workshops and develeopment opportunities for its members; and
• its general objects and operations.
