On October 23, a team from St Columba's will be riding to raise funds for Bahay Tuluyan. They will ride from Essendon to Williamstown.

Bahay Tuluyan is a children’s rights organization working to fulfill children’s rights and to prevent and respond to abuse and violence against children. St Columba's College has a long connection with Bahay Tuluyan. One of the alumni (Cath Scerri) has volunteered / worked there since 2003 and the school has been actively involved for many years.

Money raised from our bike ride will go towards the Street Education & Support program. Using a colorful, custom-built van, Bahay Tuluyan visits children living, working or spending much of their time on the street. These children, in various areas of Manila, participate in ‘Safe-Tiki Safety Education’ sessions delivered by our youth and adult facilitators. These sessions are child friendly and designed to share important information to enable children to stay as safe and healthy as possible. 

To keep this van on the road, we need funds through our donors and supporters.
