Homestead For Youth is a farm based home for at risk young people. We focus on creating a brighter future for young people, and their families, by providing a place of safety and recovery in a welcoming rural setting. The cornerstone of our model is the belief in a life of dignity and purpose, and we work together with our families, and community, to create a place where this is possible.  With the support of animal assisted therapies and hands on farm experiences, Homestead For Youth offers a unique and stable residential life for young people.

Our dream is to safely transport our residents together in 1 vehicle to their external social activities in a 12 seater bus. We are doing this currently in 2 or 3 cars. Once we have a reliable bus or van, we will be able to plan group outings and social activities to include all our young residents and reduce the need for multiple vehicles.  For all of us here at Homestead, this would be amazing!
