🌾 Buy a Bale – Help Feed the Animals That Help Our Young People 🐴🐐🐑

As many local farmers know, the outlook is becoming increasingly dry, and we'd love to be proactive rather than waiting until hay becomes scarce and prices climb even higher.

Our horses, ponies, cattle, sheep and goats play a vital role in supporting more than 60 young people each week through Outback Instincts' animal-assisted learning, mentoring and agricultural programs. They give so much to our young people every day, and now we're asking for a little help to make sure they're well cared for through the months ahead.

We're launching our "Buy a Bale" appeal and inviting our wonderful community to help us build a small hay reserve before the drought really takes hold.

🌾 Current hay prices are already increasing:

Large 4x3 and 4x4 grass bales: approximately $110–$150 each
Small square bales: approximately $15–$20 each

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards purchasing hay for the animals that make our youth programs possible. Whether you can donate the value of a small bale, contribute towards a large round bale, or simply share this appeal, every little bit helps.

By purchasing hay now, we hope to support local farmers while ensuring our animals continue to receive the nutrition they need, regardless of what the coming months bring.
