Why We’re Here
Our carnival isn’t just a party – it’s a lifeline. For many LGBTIQA+ people, especially those from rural areas, ChillOut represents something profound: a place where they can be completely themselves, surrounded by acceptance and joy. We’ve watched shy teenagers find their confidence, isolated adults discover their tribe, and entire families celebrate together.
The Challenge
Right now, ticket prices create barriers. We see people who desperately want to join us but simply can’t afford it. Parents choosing between groceries and bringing their queer kids to a place where they belong. Young people missing out on connections that could change their lives.
This breaks our hearts. And we’re determined to fix it.
Our Mission: Free by 2027
We’re working towards making our carnival completely free by 2027. Imagine it – no financial barriers, just pure celebration. Everyone welcome, everyone included.
