Since 1969, the local charity Caroline Chisholm Society has offered support from the moment a woman learns of her pregnancy to the time her youngest child goes to school, through some of life’s most difficult circumstances.
Funds raised go to giving baby and maternity goods to mothers and their young children and supporting them through homelessness, family violence and mental health crises.
Caroline Chisholm Society offers goods at 1200 appointments per year in Essendon and Shepparton and provides home visiting casework support to about 250 families in Melbourne’s west.
The Society is a registered and accredited community service organisation in Victoria and donations are tax deductible.
