Christian Community Aid (CCA) engages with our community to help the vulnerable and disadvantaged live a better life. CCA is a multi-service, independent, non-profit community organisation founded in 1965.
We provide a range of free or low cost services for community members. All our community is valued whatever their stage of life, from the very youngest right through to our oldest residents.
We provide personalized, timely, innovative support that addresses existing and emerging needs of people. CCA aims to develop resources and capacity that will contribute to strong and resilient communities.
Our programs focus on reducing isolation for the elderly, supporting youth at risk, providing emergency food parcels for the hungry, and financial counselling for struggling low income earners. These programs support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in our community who struggle to cope.
We also offer;
CCA has more than 400 volunteers supporting its work. Without their contribution, our work would not be possible.
We receive funding from local, state and federal government sources for specific programs. However, CCA also needs financial support from individuals and organisations to continue making a very practical difference for those in need. Due to significant funding cuts, we need your help more than ever.
Although some services are funded there are others that rely solely on donations such as the Emergency Relief which provides food parcels to the needy, and our Financial Counselling Services which helps people better manage their money and avoid financial destitution and homelessness.
Without your help we cannot continue to offer these vital services.
Thank you for helping us to enable better lives.
