Performing arts studio upgrade

About this cause
Canterbury Girls High School runs a successful gifted and talented program for the performing arts which is oversubscribed every year.
The school continues to have success at senior levels performing in the Schools Spectacular and running an accelerated program for HSC dance.
The space will serve as a multipurpose area for lectures from visiting experts, drama performance space and art gallery.
The new facilities will be available for community hire during non-school times.
The new studio will have:
a larger floor space
sprung wooden flooring
an 80 seat lecture theatre space
a sound and lighting desk
backstage/change area
wifi, and
a kitchen and toilet.
