The North Bondi SLSC Masters ladies are back for another crack at the Ocean Heroes 24 Hour Swim!
After taking out the title as the highest fundraising team last year (over $11k raised by the 2025 team), this incredible all-female squad is returning for year two in a bid to raise even more funds for Ocean Heroes. Ocean Heroes is a charity that provides opportunities for people on the autism spectrum to have a go at surfing in a supported, safe and inclusive environment. Ocean Heroes run surfing days at various beaches, including Bondi, and a number of North Bondi SLSC club members have also volunteered at these events and seen first-hand the impact that the Ocean Heroes surfing program has on its participants and their families.
Outside of their 24 hour swim efforts this group of ladies can be found training, competing and patrolling at North Bondi SLSC. They would love to see even more autistic and neurodiverse people enjoying the ocean in the same way they do.
