One of our organisation's current fundraising goals is the National Coaches Workshop, which will be held in Adelaide in the near future and can possibly cost around $1,000 - $1,200 pp. We will need to send at least 1 coach per Centre and preferably new and/or trainee coaches as well. This is an important opportunity for coaches to broaden their knowledge with presentations from world class presenters in many relevant fields.

The coaches in turn bring back their new knowledge to their centres which benefitss the coaches and volunteers in the delivery of their high quality programs to the riders. It is also an updating requirement for all coaches to attend one national or state coaching workshop every 2 years. 

This workshop is an essential part of coach development but also provides a greater holistic benefit to centres and riders for the following reasons.  

1..  It provides networking opportunities with coaches throughout Australia / RDA Centres with over 150 coaches from around the country in attendance

2. There will be considerable benefit to riders across the state from coaches learning some new and interesting techniques from workshop attendance.  

All coaches in Tasmania are volunteers / not paid – not even reimbursed for travel expenses, etc. Purely investing their own time.

Due to time for coaching, program development, lesson planning, goal setting for riders, horse care, etc – very little spare time is left to fundraise to be able to send coaches to this workshop, – with this in mind, any donation or support would be very much appreciated
