CENTRAL COAST AS A WELCOMING DIVERSE & INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY

Supporting us with your hard earned dollars is not just about having a great time (although that is definitely going to happen) You will be directly responsible for ground breaking possibilities as the Central Coast of NSW finally sees its first ever LGBTIQA+ inclusion in a national public event. 

LGBTIQ celebrations across Australia and the world exist to applaud the victories won so far, they use wit and colour to campaign for full equality and to remind everyone that LGBTI are everywhere, in all walks of life - that they are mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers. That we count.

WE NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN

Central Coast Pride are a Not for profit LGBTIQ Artist lead initiative who have volunteered over 4000 hrs Since August 2018- "Coastal Twist festival" can only happen if we raise the money required to pay for venues, staging, tech equipment, insurance, artist fees and the list goes on.

Festival Director, Australia’s cult pioneer of queer performance art Glitta Supernova is cooking up an inclusive bright & bold program of events across 3 days & nights, made up of visual arts, cabaret, drag, spoken word, film, live music, parties & public forums in multiple venues all culminating in a huge oceanfront Fairday @ Umina Beach Recreation Precinct Sunday Oct 6th with a full day of stage/performance, stalls, rainbow families activities & Puparazzi dog show entries.

 The LGBTQI community is not one community, but is many communities made up of people with diverse sexualities, sex and gender identities. Just like wider society, people in these communities come from differing backgrounds, hold differing political views and have differing experiences & as such, there is not one person or group who can or should represent the views of all LGBTIQ people and from that Central Coast Pride was born.
