Community Defib Project assists communities across Australia to install community accessible defibrillators that are available for 24/7 community access to support community members to try and save the life of a loved one suffering a sudden cardiac arrest.
We know that majority of sudden cardiac arrest in Australia occur within the home and reality of our beautiful country is that not everyone has timely access to medical assistance.
With every minute that goes by during a sudden cardiac arrest WITHOUT a defibrillator (AED), the victim's chance of survival is reduced by 10%.
That's why, the Community Defib Project is here to help your community become safer with 24/7 access to community defibs, monitored, managed and maintained with assistance from the CDP.
The Bundeena community with leadership from their local committee of 3 is well underway to raise funds for 4 community AEDs
Important: Community Defib Project is a not-for-profit registered with the ACNC. We're owned by the community for the commnunity and currently don't received any ongoing funding to assist communities. We assist each community to do their own fundraising through donations, sponsorship and grants but are very much reliant on local support. Every little bit counts!
