Connected Health Alliance was borne out of deep frustration with how the healthcare system manages individuals with complex chronic illness. Our founding board are all proud Hypermobile patients and highly skilled clinicians; determined to make a difference to the future care of Zebras. ​​​

Our activities at Connected Health Alliance include: 

• Interdisciplinary Hypermobility Clinic - We operate a dedicated clinic in Wollongong for individuals with HSD and EDS. Our team of clinicians brings both professional expertise and lived experience. We aim to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care, supported by weekly interdisciplinary team case conferences to ensure collaborative treatment planning. 
• Clinician Education - We are in the process of launching live, six-weekly online training sessions designed to build clinician confidence and competence in managing HSD and EDS. These sessions aim to equip health professionals with practical skills and up-to-date knowledge to better support their patients. 
• Research - Our Research Director is actively pursuing funding to support grassroots-led research initiatives. We’re committed to community-driven priorities.
• Advocacy - Connected Health Alliance strives to be a strong voice for the hypermobility community. We advocate for improved access to care, increased awareness, and systemic change to better support those living with HSD and EDS.
