Did you know that young people in the Northern Territory face higher rates of youth unemployment, lower educational attainment, disparities for Indigenous young people, increased rates of psychological distress, and limited access to creative and cultural opportunities?

• Arts participation provides essential socio-emotional benefits that protect young people against mental illness, fostering thier wellbeing and resilience.
• Engaging in arts-rich learning has been proven to contribute improved school attendance and improved academic outcomes helping young Territorians thrive
• Youth arts programs provide a powerful platform for young people to explore important ideas, express themselves creatively and find their voices in a supportive environment
