The focus of our work is to empower and increase the confidence of people so they can navigate the complex environments of the courts. For victims of crime; people grieving the tragic death of a family member; people with mental health issues or disabilities; and women seeking family violence orders, being at court can be one of the most distressing days of a person's life.
Our mission extends to supporting people accused of crime and their family and friends who are equally as stressed and anxious about being in the court environment.
Our service is delivered by a highly-trained workforce of 450 community volunteers (we call them ‘Networkers’) who operate in courts across Victoria and Queensland. They are professionally trained to provide the service, and commit one day a week to the great benefit of over 180,000 court users each year.
Your donation is a valuable way of helping us continue to support all court users.
