This year our goal is to raise money and awareness for ovarian cancer, so by doing this we will be running the City - Bay half Marathon in September. In support of the Letitia Linke Foundation, a foundation we deeply believe in. Our beautiful Auntie Ruth was deeply affected by ovarian cancer, in honour of the women she stood beside during treatment, Ruth now dedicates her time as vice chair of the foundation, advancing ovarian cancer research and creating hope for the women who follows. This means both soph and I have grown up seeing the amazing work, care, and dedication that goes into supporting women and families affected by ovarian cancer. Soph and I are currently training on opposite sides of the country, so our training together mostly involves voice messages, complaints and trying to convince each other we’ve somehow got to actually run 21km. Alongside all the fun, this cause means so much to us, and we’re so proud to be doing something that can hopefully aid in making a difference and it’s even more special that we are doing it together. Every donation, share, and bit of support helps contribute to the incredible work the foundation does. If you’d like to support us, we would be so grateful 🤍
