I am running the Sydney marathon and raising funds for Arrow Foundation. 

My journey into running has been significantly inspired by my patients with blood cancer, who overcome enormous challenges  though their own journeys.

Each year, over 2,000 Australians undergo a bone marrow or stem cell transplant. Arrow Foundation's goal is to support every one of them.
When the impact of treatment makes it impossible to work, Arrow provides financial support to see patients through their most difficult periods.
When patients and carers feel overwhelmed or alone, Arrow provides trusted information and connects them with others who understand.
When healthcare professionals need to strengthen their skills, Arrow supports training and development to improve patient care.
When researchers uncover new ways to treat blood disease and improve recovery, Arrow funds the most promising opportunities.

We need to continue to build on the progress in management of these cancers and support patients undergoing intensive therapies and  research into new treatments.
