A while ago, our dear friend An gifted Noah one of the most thoughtful presents - a handmade care bear knitted by her mum. It was a gesture filled with love and warmth that touched our hearts deeply. Now, in the week of Noah’s 3rd birthday with the support of our dearest Granny Shirley, we're embarking on a mission close to our hearts - the "Wish Upon A Star" initiative (named after one of Noah’s favourite bed time story).

We are raising funds for Wombat’s Wish, an organization dedicated to supporting children who have experienced the loss of a parent. One in 20 Australian children will face the death of a parent before they turn 18. The impact of such loss is profound, touching every aspect of a child's life from their mental and physical health to their family life and education.

Wombat’s Wish has made difference in the lives of many children and families by providing grief support but I know there are more children would benefit form their work.  That's why I'm inviting you to join us in supporting their mission by donating to my CrowdRaiser. Granny Shirley and I will make care bears throughout the year (hopefully I am a fast learner of knitting :)) and give to some children in need for support and love at Christmas time.
