With the cost of living crisis currently overwhelming more and more Australians than ever, the work that 300 Blankets performs is not only inspiring but essential for the rising number of Australians who find themselves unable to afford a home.
On the turn of my 31st birthday, I will be preparing for 9 weeks to complete what I call the 31 Relentless: trying to cover as much distance on foot as I can in 31 hours - an hour for every year I've been alive.
It's my hope that my example in completing my own charity run, 31 Relentless, will inspire others to donate and think of those who have nowhere safe to call home.
